This is just a one-off lesson and would suit anyone who is just curious and not quite ready to commit to a full course. It will give you a good idea about what is involved and what pole dancing is all about!

We hold a FREE taster session every month at our studio in Chester, to enable you to try before you buy.  Keep an eye on our calendar, or to keep informed about when we will hold our next free open day event, please join our mailing list.

Beginner Pole Dance Course Starts – Chester
Nov 27 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Beginner Level

Pre-Requisites: None

For complete beginners with no prior strength or pole training.  The course is one hour a week for eight weeks. In the first 4 weeks you will learn:  Spins, Poses, Transitions, Floor work, and Climbing.

By weeks 4/5 is where you start to get noticeably stronger, and see subtle muscle tone changes.  So we up the anti by giving you more demanding spins and exercises, sitting (ON the pole!), standing and preparing you for inverting (going upside down). We aim to get you aerial by lesson 8 and we are yet to fail at this!

All classes start with a basic warm up and stretches, and end with cooling down stretches. Group classes are small, only 9 per class, and as our Chester classes are very popular, places go to the first people to pay for them.

You can either pay for the full 8 week course at £80 – Which to be honest is best because it secures your space for the duration of the course.

OR you can choose to pay in two £40 chunks instead (in advance) BUT once it’s time to renew the second half, you might find that there aren’t enough places as they have been pre-paid.

Improver Pole Dance Course Starts – Chester

Improver level

Pre-Requisites: Beginner level + Strength & Technique level (or similar, if you have come from another school).

Suitable for Beginner-Intermediate level students as more upper body strength and pole confidence is required.  The course is one hour a week for eight weeks.

We start this course with some more difficult spins, poses, various seated and laying back tricks, climbing and basic inverted moves.

By weeks 4/5 is where it gets a bit tougher.  Since Beginner level, we have built up your strength for this bit so you will be able to cope with what comes next … Inverting, Aerial tricks, Dismounts.  We will also take your shoulder mount from the preparation stage (which was included in Level 1) one step further.  We also begin work on the handspring by the end of this course.

It’s totally OK to repeat this course if you’re not totally confident by the end, some will, some won’t need to – there’s no hard-fast rules, take it at YOUR pace!

Intermediate Pole Dance Course Starts – Chester
Nov 29 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Intermediate level

Pre-Requisites: Beginner + Strength + Improver + Strength  (or similar if you have come from another school).

Congratulations! You’re entering the realm of seriousness and feeling pretty impressed – But you’re not ready to hang upside down off one toe just yet!

This 8 week course is designed to help you gain confidence in being upside down, spending time at mid-pole height, refining your technique and making sure your leg/hip/arm locks are secure, trying a couple of basic combinations, working on the weaker side, dead lifting and making it all look natural!  This is also a great level to return to, if you’ve had a bit of a pole break and were previously at Intermediate standard, and saves you having to shell out un-necessarily.

By the end of this course, your ears will be ringing with the sound of my voice screaming ‘Lift woman! Butt higher! Hold it! Exit nicely!’ – but you will move like a butterfly and have the precision of a pole ninja!

Most students will need to do this course twice before moving on to the Advanced level as the spectrum of moves that are considered ‘Intermediate’ are almost endless!

Sexy Flexy Stretching Course Starts – Chester – £10

Let’s get Flexy!

Our Sexy Flexy Course is a 30 minute group stretching class, and is suitable for anyone wishing to improve their flexibility, whether they do pole dance or not.

The main focus of the session is to gain leg flexibility ready for the splits, and back flexibility to support a deep but comfortable back arch.  And yes, this is mostly to supplement your pole work and improve how your lines look when you do pole – however the whole body gets a good going over during these sessions also.

Burlesque Beginner Course – Chester – £40

This class is available to anyone and everyone!  You don’t need to be a pole student or have had any experience before.

WEEK 1 – BRING HEELS!

Can’t walk in heels?
No problem – Week 1 is all about the strut! How to walk into a room and command attention! Various walks and poses will be covered, as well as basic moves and signature moves.
You’ll also learn a little about the history of Burlesque and be given research pointers.

WEEK 2 – BRING GLOVES & STOCKINGS!

Guess where this is going?
After a quick recap of week 1, you will learn how to tastefully remove garments in a classic, playful Burlesque style.
You’ll also start to put together a routine incorporating everything you have picked up so far, as well as selecting an outfit for next week.

WEEK 3 – BRING YOUR OUTFIT

This week, you’ll finish your routine and incorporate the garment removal of choice at the finale.
You will also get to have some play time with props! Be it fans, boa’s, tables, chairs – the possibilities are endless!

WEEK 4 – THE FINALE

In the last session, you will complete your routine with garment removal, recap over the whole course content, as well as have some brief confidence coaching.
You’ll be given a whole new routine to follow for fun, and all the research tools you need to take things a step further.
